Join us for a protest rally across the street from the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology, organized by the largest biotech lobby group inthe world (whose members include Monsanto, Dow AgroSciences and BASF). Companies are meeting to plan how they can make new products from genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and synthetic biology, with the goal of a new “bioeconomy” based on synthesizing and engineering the genetic make-up of crops, trees, microbes, algae, and other life-forms.
We need real solutions. We need to reduce consumption and respect life. Come to share good food and music with us. Stop corporations from taking control over food and life.
